Savanah is an associate lawyer practicing commercial litigation, insolvency, and restructuring law with a focus on bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, collections, foreclosures, debtor-creditor disputes, judgment enforcement and estate litigation.

She has acted for secured lenders, borrowers, guarantors, debtors, and licensed insolvency trustees across the full range of insolvency and enforcement matters. Her experience under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act includes discharge hearings, consumer proposals, Division I proposals, and receivership proceedings. She regularly appears on chambers applications and in registrar hearings.

She also acts on residential and commercial foreclosure proceedings for private lenders and defends borrowers and covenantors in foreclosure and debt enforcement claims. She provides counsel and representation to creditors and debtors on collection matters, including garnishment proceedings, asset discovery, court-ordered sale proceedings, and the enforcement of foreign judgments.

Savanah also maintains an estate litigation practice. Her insolvency background is a natural complement to this work, particularly in matters involving indebted or insolvent estates and creditor claims against estate assets.

Savanah has a developing focus on the hospitality, fashion, and creative industries, acting for restaurants, craft breweries, wineries and food-service operators, consumer and fashion brands, and social media creators. Savanah draws on the firm's litigation, insolvency and restructuring, and enforcement experience to bring a commercially grounded perspective to these matters. Her work in this area includes commercial lease, supplier, and sponsorship disputes, tax and creditor claims, and restructuring and insolvency proceedings, with particular attention to how trademarks, brand assets, licenses, and revenue streams are treated in insolvency, receivership, and security enforcement proceedings, as well as in distressed asset sales.

She holds a law degree from Queen Mary University of London and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2026 after articling with Reedman Law, where she appeared in court and carried her own files from the outset. Savanah has appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the Court of Appeal for British Columbia, and assisted senior counsel in responding to an application for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada.

 

Outside of her legal work, Savanah enjoys playing soccer, experimenting with new recipes, and spending quality time with her beloved cats.
