Savanah is an associate lawyer practicing commercial litigation, insolvency, and restructuring law, with a focus on both personal and corporate insolvency proceedings. She also works on collections, foreclosures, debtor-creditor disputes, judgment enforcement, and estate litigation.

She has acted for secured lenders, borrowers, guarantors, debtors, and licensed insolvency trustees in insolvency and enforcement matters. Her experience under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act ranges from bankruptcy discharge hearings and consumer proposals for individuals to Division I proposals and receivership proceedings for companies. She regularly appears on chambers applications and in registrar hearings.

She also acts on residential and commercial foreclosure proceedings for private lenders and defends borrowers and covenantors in foreclosure and debt enforcement claims. She provides counsel and representation to creditors and debtors on collection matters, including garnishment proceedings, asset discovery, court-ordered sale proceedings, and the enforcement of foreign judgments.

Savanah also maintains an estate litigation practice at the intersection of estates and bankruptcy, drawing on her insolvency background in matters involving indebted or insolvent estates and creditor claims against estate assets. Where insolvency and family breakdown overlap, she assists individuals whose separation is complicated by financial distress, working alongside family law counsel on the treatment of support and family property claims in bankruptcy.

Savanah is developing a practice serving the hospitality, fashion, and creative industries, including restaurants, craft breweries, wineries and other food-service operators, consumer and fashion brands, and social media creators. She draws on the firm's litigation, insolvency and restructuring, and enforcement experience to bring a commercially grounded perspective to matters such as commercial lease, supplier, and sponsorship disputes, tax and creditor claims, and restructuring and insolvency proceedings, with particular attention to how trademarks, brand assets, licences, and revenue streams are treated in insolvency, receivership, and security enforcement proceedings, and in distressed asset sales.

Outside of her legal work, Savanah enjoys playing soccer, experimenting with new recipes, and spending quality time with her beloved cats.
