Michael Noguera is an experienced and highly effective litigator specializing in Restructuring and Insolvency Law. With a practice focused on complex commercial insolvency, bankruptcy, corporate restructuring, and debt litigation, Michael is known for his ability to problem-solve the most difficult issues.

His extensive expertise covers proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, as well as fraud and Ponzi schemes, creditors’ rights and recovery, and judgement enforcement. He regularly acts for a wide array of clients, including secured and unsecured creditors, lenders, debtors, and mortgagors in both negotiation circumstances and litigious settings.

Michael understands what is most important for his clients and works towards that desired result. In the past, Michael honed his legal skills at a boutique commercial law firm and served as a former Federal Prosecutor for the Vancouver and Surrey communities. A standout during his law studies, Michael advocated in the Western Canada Trial Competition and received Dean’s List recognition.

Outside of his legal practice, Michael is an avid volleyball player and can often be found on the beaches of Vancouver spiking the competition.
